It seems that discussing and debating issues is cause for assassination. In a country that talks about free speech and has it listed in the bill of rights, the first ten amendments to the United states constitution why is this happening?

Today, Charlie Kirk was assassinated at the age of 31. Yes, assassinated.   Why?  He had views that were different than others.  But assassinated?  Why?

Rush Limbaugh once said that when liberals cannot win a discussion or argument, then go after the opponent.  Today, it seems like someone succeed in the ultimate go after their opponent.  

Kirk had in many supporters and admirers.    Many have admitted to leaving their liberal roots and supporting conservative candidates, become Republicans become MAGA Supporters and vote for Donald Trump.

Donald Trump was shot at once and almost shot at another time.  Abe Lincoln shot and killed.  John F. Kennedy the same.  Ronald Reagan was shot at.  It happened before and it has happened again.   I wish it would not happen.  We need to be civil while disagreeing.

I did not agree with everything Charlie Kirk has to say.  Just as I do not agree with everything Bernie Sanders has to say.  But I agree to disagree.  I agree to discuss and try to gain consensus, but if I don’t, I agree to walk away and try again another time.  We need to all agree to take this approach.

Many have offered condolences to the Kirk family. I offer my condolences.
